Physiotherapist
Lucas is our new-graduate Physiotherapist, having completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney with a Bachelors degree in Pre-Medicine and a Research Honours degree in Neuroscience.
Lucas has experience in sports physiotherapy; working as one of the lead physiotherapists for NPL youth and men’s soccer teams, and the healthcare sector; working for 5 years in the delivery of care and support for adolescents and children with disabilities.
He is a hands-on physiotherapist, employing manual therapy strategies such as soft tissue release, joint mobilisations and manipulations. Exercise prescription and education is another major element of his treatment methods, as he is a big believer in empowering the patient and providing self-management techniques specialised to each individual.
Lucas has travelled extensively and enjoys experiencing different cultures from around the world. He is also classically trained in piano, and enjoys playing tennis and training in mixed martial arts.
Lucas is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
